Oxford Health Alliance Global Summit 2008
The Oxford Health Alliance (OxHA) holds an annual summit to bring together a diverse group of experts from a range of fields to discuss the prevention of epidemic chronic disease.
The 2008 Summit was jointly hosted by the OxHA Secretariat in London and the OxHA Asia-Pacific Centre at the University of Sydney, and was held in Sydney, 25-27 February 2008, on the theme of Building a healthy future: chronic disease and our environment.
The OxHA Summit ’08 considered the collective response needed to safeguard the health of people, places and planet.
The meeting delivered a global call to action – The Sydney Challenge – to inspire corporations, governments, financial institutions, donor agencies and others to build a healthy future.
The Sydney Challenge will be developed on OxHA’s interactive web platform: 3FOUR50.
